Fischer v. CIC Settlement

The deadline to submit a claim form has passed so the benefits under the Settlement are no longer available.

The Lawsuit was filed February 15, 2005, and concerns PPO discounts taken by Connecticut Indemnity Company (CIC) on the class member bills. The Plaintiff alleges in the lawsuit that CIC improperly failed to pay, in whole or in part, medical expenses benefits under CICís workersí compensation policies in Illinois based on CICís receipt of PPO discounts.

CIC has denied and continues to deny all charges of wrongdoing or liability against them arising out of the allegations and claims asserted in the lawsuits.

DATES TO REMEMBER (All Deadlines Have Passed)

  • The opt out deadline was February 25, 2009
  • The objection deadline was February 25, 2009
  • The claim form deadline was July 6, 2009
